This list of public reefs was created using the CSV download available at Outdoor Alabama. Updated June 6, 2021, with the most recent AMRD data.

We removed all the special characters, extra fields, and other GPS stumbling blocks. As long as you’re running the most recent software, this file should work in your unit.

Reef names, types, depths, and descriptions were preserved and are available in the waypoint description on your GPS. A big thanks to the Alabama Marine Resources Division for making the artificial reef data publicly available and easy to use formats! Give AMRD a shout out on your favorite social media platform!

Red Snapper, Black Snapper, Triggerfish, Amberjack, and more can be found on these reefs.
